1. Overview

Q-Core ("we," "our," or "us") is a product of Halonex. Q-Core is a local, on-device quantum computer emulator for Android. The App simulates quantum circuits using your device's local processing power.

We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data. All computations and data remain entirely on your device. Q-Core operates completely offline — no internet connection is required or used.

The Human Summary

Q-Core is a quantum circuit simulator that runs 100% on your phone. It never connects to the internet, never sends data anywhere, and knows nothing about you. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

To be completely transparent, Q-Core does not collect any of the following:

  • No personal information — We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information
  • No usage data or analytics — We do not use any analytics services (such as Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or similar). We do not track how you use the App
  • No location data — We do not access or collect your geographic location
  • No device information — We do not collect device identifiers, hardware model, operating system version, or any device-specific information
  • No advertising data — We do not serve advertisements or collect any advertising identifiers
  • No crash reports — We do not automatically collect crash reports or diagnostics data
  • No network data — The App does not require internet access and does not make any network requests

The Human Summary

We collect absolutely nothing. No analytics, no tracking, no device info, no crash reports. The app doesn't even have the ability to connect to the internet. Zero data collection means zero privacy risk.

3. How the App Works

Q-Core operates entirely offline on your device. Here is exactly what happens with your data at every stage:

3.1 Quantum Circuit Simulation

All quantum circuit design, simulation, and result computation occur locally on your device's CPU using our built-in physics engine. No data is sent to external servers.

3.2 Circuit Editor

Circuits you create and edit are held in memory during your session. They are not persisted to disk or transmitted externally.

3.3 Circuit Export

When you export a circuit as an image, the file is saved locally to your device's storage. We do not access, upload, or process this exported content.

3.4 Learning Content

All educational material (lessons, gate references) is bundled within the App and accessed locally. No content is fetched from external servers.

3.5 Settings & Preferences

App preferences (such as dark mode, haptic feedback, and simulation settings) are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted.

The Human Summary

Everything happens on your phone. The simulator runs locally, your circuits live in memory, exported images save to your storage, and all learning content is pre-loaded. Nothing ever leaves your device.

4. Permissions

Q-Core requests only the minimum permissions necessary:

The App does not request permissions for:

  • No internet access

5. Third-Party Services

Q-Core does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. The App contains no:

  • No third-party analytics SDKs
  • No advertising networks
  • No social media trackers
  • No cloud-based backends or APIs

The App uses open-source libraries (such as Jetpack Compose, Dagger Hilt, Lottie, and Kotlin Coroutines) solely for UI rendering and local computation. None of these libraries transmit data from your device.

No trackers. No ads. No analytics. No cloud anything. The open-source libraries we use are purely for the user interface and local processing — they don't phone home.

6. Data Storage & Security

  • Local Only: All data generated within the App (circuits, simulation results, settings) exists only in your device's local memory or local storage.
  • No Cloud Backup of App Data: We do not implement custom cloud backup or sync features. Standard Android backup behavior (controlled by your device settings) may apply to app preferences at the OS level, which is governed by Google's privacy policies.
  • No Accounts: Q-Core does not require account creation, login, or authentication of any kind.

The Human Summary

Your circuits and settings live on your device only. There are no accounts, no cloud sync, and no backups to our servers. If you uninstall the app, everything is gone — because we never had it in the first place.

7. Children's Privacy

Q-Core does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Because the App collects no data, it complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Your Rights

Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, export, or delete. If data privacy laws in your jurisdiction grant you specific rights (such as those under the GDPR or the CCPA), please know that Q-Core's zero-data-collection approach means those rights are inherently satisfied.

The Human Summary

You can't request us to delete your data because we never collected any. Every privacy right you have is automatically fulfilled by virtue of us having nothing on you.
